But the problem is that we don’t know exactly the dos and don’ts of the training and end up making certain mistakes which can harm our health. Dos:

It often happens that we don’t what exactly do we want. It is better that you write down your goal and do the exercise accordingly. Don’t mess it up at all. If you won’t have a clear picture of what you want you won’t be able to get the result you need. So, be clear about it.

Also, sometimes, we don’t find it important to warm ups. Warm ups are meant to open up your muscles and prepare them for the exercise. If you would start your exercise without a warm up then you might hurt your muscles.

Make a proper plan. If you won’t have a proper plan for your workout then you would end up doing the same exercise everyday and would soon feel bored. This could bore you and you might think of quitting the exercises.

As you exercise, you lose water through sweat. It is important that you keep your body hydrated by drinking water before, in between and after the exercises. If you won’t do it, then your body will have a deficiency of liquid and it could trouble you while exercising.

Avoid wearing tight clothes. This would avoid you to move freely and thus you won’t be able to have a free exercise routine. Wear comfortable clothes which would either soak the sweat or would provide space and air to do it. This way, you won’t feel uncomfortable while working out.

It happens that when we are new to the gym, we think of doing the maximum exercise in one day and then the next day we are suffering from body ache. This makes you skip the gym in coming days and then you lose the continuity. It is important to understand the one should start with minimal exercise in the first few weeks and then later on should move to the tougher levels. This way, you won’t be stressing yourself much and you can get the desired result.

Don’ts:

You have to understand that your muscle will get stretched and would pain if you stress yourself much. So, don’t stress it much and give it some time to cool down. Over training is not going to help you but would destroy your body.

Don’t set up unrealistic goal which is hard to achieve. If you are having those goals then remember that these unrealistic goals would de-motivate you instead of motivating you. Goals should be realistic and short term. This is when you would be able to continue with it.

Don’t ever skip breakfast. Breakfast is the important meal of the day. It is important that you take a healthy and proper breakfast. This meal provides you energy for the entire day. Skipping this would mean that you’re skipping the source of your energy.

A proper rest is needed for everyone. And when you’re working out in a gym, it becomes very important for you. Not having a proper sleep would mean that you’re tiring your body and thus this would affect your life. Have a proper sleep so that your body can get proper rest.

Never just give up. It is better that you speak to your friend about it and see that you’ve a proper reason to give up. Sometimes, we just don’t have a proper reason to give up and quit. Whereas, if you speak to your friend in such a situation, you might get a reason to stay. So, speak to your friend.
