This kind of disease is equal to the Alopecia Areata. The only difference here could be that in the Universalis, the loss of hair more as compared to Areata. This means, that there could be the loss of hair on every body’s parts.

Tinea Capitis:

This disease is caused by the fungus infection. It leads to the bare patches on the scalp. Not only that this disease can also lead to the hair loss of eyelashes and eyebrows. It mostly affects children who are below the age of 10. It is more a kind of skin disease which is also called as ringworm of the scalp.

Telogen Effluvium:

When, your hair remains in the resting phase for longer time, than usual, it makes them thinner and detaches them. This condition can go off for months. This could be the result of poor nutrition, hormonal imbalance and stress.
